Weather monitoring system with Japanese technology and water level sensor were installed by MJTD since June 2017. Weather monitoring system was installed at Thilawa SEZ and water level senor for surface water (Yangon River) was installed at terminal port of Myanmar International Terminal Thilawa Limited (MITT).

In line with this principle; the regulator, the developer and all investors of Thilawa SEZ have committed Thilawa SEZ as a corruption-free zone in Myanmar.
Active and respectful engagement with local communities is important to the success of projects and long-term operations as MJTD, the developer of Thilawa SEZ, seriously aware of its responsibility towards the local communities and strive to identify, understand and respond to the concerns of the communities in timely fashion.
