Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Ltd. (MJTD) initiated a workshop on Social Responsible Programs of Thilawa SEZ for FY2023-2024 with the locators from Thilawa SEZ on 12^th January 2023.

    Together with the MJTD team, a total of 62 representatives from 36 locators of the Thilawa SEZ participated in the workshop. The workshop aims to share and discuss with CSR representatives from each locator to develop the implementation activities towards community under defined, constructive and proposed action plans for FY2023-2024 and has to collaborate, coordinate and work all together in possible ways for providing social responsible activities for all stakeholders- both for locators and local communities.

       The workshop started with the welcoming by CEO of MJTD followed by the sharing of Community Relation Department on previous responsible activities from 2015 to December 2022 and sharing the introductory presentation on workshop and the back bone of Thilawa SEZ Social Responsible Strategies and proposed action plans based on under Six main categories for implementation on social responsible activities of Thilawa SEZ for FY 2023 -2024.

       The participants are grouped into eight and each group considered that important issues for understanding the implementation of future activities towards sustainable development. The group discussion addressed the comments, suggestions and consensus on social responsible activities of TSEZ and also discussed for future activities. Each group’s representative shared their consensus, opinions and comments on future activities and the suggestions for Thilawa Community. The overall reviews were done by the Community Relation Team Leader and followed by the comments of Community Relation Officer/ Joint-Secretary 2 of TSMC. The workshop successfully ended with the closing remarks of Community Relation Officer/ Joint-Secretary 2 of TSMC.

       Thilawa SEZ is located 23 km southeast of Yangon, is the first large-scale SEZ in Myanmar and is being developed in phases under MJTD, a public-private partnership joint venture initiated by Myanmar and Japan. It had become fully and commercially operational in September 2015. Currently, approximately 85% percent of the factories in Thilawa SEZ is operational, providing over 13,500 jobs for Myanmar people.

            မြန်မာ-ဂျပန် သီလဝါဒီဗီလော့မန့် လိမိတက် (MJTD) မှ ဦးဆောင်ကာ သီလဝါ အထူး စီးပွားရေးဇုန်မှ            (၂ဝ၂၃-၂ဝ၂၄) ဘဏ္ဍာ‌ရေးနှစ်အတွင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် လူမှုစီးပွား ‌ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး လုပ်ငန်းများအတွက် အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲတစ်ခုကို ၂ဝ၂၃ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလ (၁၂) ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျင်းပ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

             အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ မြန်မာ ဂျပန် သီလဝါဒီဗီလော့မန့် လိမိတက်မှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများနှင့် သီလဝါ အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်မှ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံထားသော ကုမ္ပဏီ (၃၆) ခုမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများ စုစုပေါင်း (၆၂) ဦး တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး သီလဝါအထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်၏ (၂ဝ၂၃-၂ဝ၂၄) ဘဏ္ဍာ‌ရေးနှစ်အတွင်း သီလဝါပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ဒေသခံများအတွက်သာမက သီလဝါ အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန် အတွင်းရှိ စက်ရုံ/အလုပ်ရုံ လုပ်ငန်းရှင်များ, ဝန်ထမ်းများအတွက်ပါ အကျုံးဝင်မည့် လူမှုစီးပွား ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး လုပ်ငန်းများ ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် အဓိကဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။ ထို့အပြင် အခြေခံမူဝါဒများအလိုက် သက်ဆိုင်ရာ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံသူများ၏ တာဝန်ခံရှိသူများက ရှေ့ဆက် အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ကြမည့် လုပ်ငန်းများကို အဖွဲ့လိုက်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

            အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို MJTD မှ အမှုဆောင်အရာရှိချုပ်က ကြိုဆိုနှုတ်ခွန်းဆက်စကား ပြောကြား ၍ စတင်ခဲ့ပြီး လူထုဆက်ဆံရေးဌာနမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများက (၂ဝ၁၅ မှ ၂ဝ၂၂) ခုနှစ် ဒီဇင်ဘာလအထိ ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့သည့် လူမှုစီးပွား ဖွံဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး ဆောင်ရွက်ချက်များအား လည်းကောင်း၊ အလုပ်ရုံ ဆွေးနွေးပွဲဆိုင်ရာ အစီအစဉ်များနှင့် သီလဝါအထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်၏ လူမှုစီးပွား ဖွံ့ဖြိုး တိုးတက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ အခြေခံမူဝါဒများ, သတ်မှတ်ထားသည့် မဏ္ဍိုင် (၆)ခုပေါ် အခြေခံကာ ဆောင်ရွက်ရန် အစီအစဉ်များနှင့် လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များကို ရှင်းလင်းတင်ပြခဲ့ပါသည်။

           အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ တက်ရောက်လာကြသူများက အုပ်စုအဖွဲ့ (၈) ဖွဲ့ခွဲကာ ဆောင်ရွက် သင့်သည့် လုပ်ငန်းစဥ်များအား  သက်ဆိုင်ရာအဖွဲ့အလိုက် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ အဖွဲ့လိုက် ဆွေးနွေး ချက်များသည် သီလဝါအထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်၏ ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် လူမှုစီးပွား ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး လုပ်ငန်းများအား အကြံပြုခြင်းနှင့် ဘုံသဘောတူညီချက်များ ရယူခြင်းတို့ ပါဝင်ပြီး သက်ဆိုင်ရာ အဖွဲ့ တစ်ဖွဲ့ချင်းစီက မိမိတို့ ဆွေးနွေးအကြံပြုချက်များကို ပြန်လည်တင်ပြဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ထို့နောက်တွင် လူထုဆက်ဆံ‌ရေးအဖွဲ့ခေါင်းဆောင်က သုံးသပ်ဆွေးနွေးတင်ပြခဲ့ပြီး လူထုဆက်ဆံရေး အရာရှိ/သီလဝါအထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန် စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှု ကော်မတီ တွဲဘက်အတွင်းရေးမှူး-၂ က နိဂုံးချုပ်အမှာ စကားပြောကြားပြီး အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို အောင်မြင်စွာ ပြီးစီးခဲ့ပါသည်။

          သီလဝါအထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ပထမဆုံး အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ခဲ့သည့် စီးပွားရေးဇုန် တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး ရန်ကုန်မြို့၏ အရှေ့တောင်ဘက် (၂၃) ကီလိုမီတာအကွာတွင်တည်ရှိပါသည်။ ၎င်းကို မြန်မာ-ဂျပန် နှစ်နိုင်ငံ လက်တွဲဆောင်ရွက်သည့် ပုဂ္ဂလိကနှင့်အစိုးရ အကျိုးတူ ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှု (public-private partnership) တစ်ခုဖြစ်သည့် မြန်မာ-ဂျပန် သီလဝါဒီဗီလော့မန့် လိမိတက်မှ ၂ဝ၁၅ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလမှ စတင်ကာ အပြည့်အဝ စီးပွားဖြစ်လည်ပတ်နိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ လက်ရှိတွင် သီလဝါအထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်ရှိ စက်ရုံများ၏ (၈၅) ရာခိုင်နှုန်းခန့်သည် လည်ပတ်နေပြီး မြန်မာပြည်သူများအတွက် အလုပ်အကိုင်ပေါင်း (၁၃,၅ဝဝ) ကျော်ကို ပေးအပ်လျက်ရှိသည်။
