
TSEZ Launches the Two Vocational Trainings for Community Young Adults

In collaboration with GTI-Thanlyin, the Community Relations Department of MJTD has launched two vocational training courses for young adults in the surrounding communities: Basic House Wiring Installation Course (1/2025) and Basic Computer Course (2/2025). This initiative is part of TSEZ’s commitment to enhancing job opportunities and supporting community development through practical skill-building for the community people.
The opening ceremony was held on May 17, 2025, at GTI-Thanlyin, attended by MJTD management- President and CEO, Admin and HR Officer and Director, Community Relations Officer, and invited guests. Following the ceremony, refreshments were served and the first training sessions began.
The courses will run on Every Saturday and Sunday starting from May 17 to June 15, 2025. The Wiring Installation Course includes 60 hours of training for 30 participants, while the Computer Course consists of 30 hours of class time for 40 participants.
As part of the Thilawa SEZ’s CSR program, TSEZ continues to support local communities through education and vocational training, helping bridge skills gaps and create long-term opportunities for youth in the community for a better future.
