TSEZ Provides Academic Fund to BEHS Aye Mya Thida and BEHS Myaing Thar Yar

On July 25th, 2024, the Thilawa Special Economic Zone (TSEZ) reaffirmed its commitment to educational development by providing an Academic Fund of 2,000,000 MMK to BEHS Aye Mya Thida and BEHS Myaing Thar Yar. These high schools, which serve over 900 and 1,300 students respectively, are located within the project-affected communities (PACs) surrounding the TSEZ.

The Academic Fund is aimed at improving access to quality educational opportunities for students in these communities. It will be used for various educational enhancements, including hiring external teachers, covering utility bills, and purchasing essential teaching materials. This support marks the second time TSEZ has extended such financial assistance, further solidifying its dedication to fostering a better learning environment for the students in Kyauk Tan Township.

This initiative is part of TSEZ’s broader Educational Support Program, which not only supports individual students but also strengthens the overall educational infrastructure in the area. By providing resources to both students and schools, TSEZ aims to create a nurturing environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth. This continued investment in education reflects TSEZ's commitment to empowering the next generation of children around TSEZ.
