About 1200 runners were competed in TSEZ RUN 2019

The first community run of Thilawa Special Economic Zone started on November 3rd (Sunday Morning) with 10 km followed by 5 km. About 1200 runners including local and international runners were competed in TSEZ RUN 2019.

About 130 volunteers from Thanlyin Township, Kyauk Tan Township and Thanlyin Bike Club Members helped on the event day.

U Win Aung, Chairman of Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Limited said that “we hosted this event by aiming for the community of Thilawa Special Economic Zone which is also a part of Myanmar Nation”.

This is the first running event organized by TSEZ to ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for the communities around TSEZ and to develop engagement in societies of community and business. Trough this race, participants will get to know the importance of physical exercise, well-being conditions and important factors when running.
