TSEZ enhances the clean drinking water for students at BEHS Aye Mya Thida
Thilawa Special Economic Zone (TSEZ) has demonstrated its commitment to providing clean and safe drinking water to local communities by installing a new water purification machine at BEHS Aye Mya Thida on December 10, 2024.
On behalf of Thilawa SEZ’s Locators, the Community Relations Department of MJTD, arranged to install a 200GPD RO water treatment machine, together with a 0.5HP Auto Pressure Pump, water treatment materials, and 600 L Steel Tank including some spare parts for water purification which are necessary for students at Aye Mya Thida Ward.
To further support the initiative, two existing water purification systems at the school were also repaired, ensuring that all equipment functions at optimal capacity. With these upgrades, the school now provides purified drinking water to approximately 900 students and 12 teachers, spanning primary to high school students.
This initiative underscores the TSEZ’s commitment to enhancing access to clean and safe drinking water in communities around TSEZ. By providing a safe and clean water supply, TSEZ is actively promoting better sanitation and clean water access not only for the students but also for the community people.
