The TSEZ provides Educational and Cultural Excursion Trip for TSEZ Scholarship Students
On September 17, 2024, the Community Relations Department of MJTD organized an enjoyable one-day excursion for 20 scholarship students—10 each from BEHS Myaing Thar Yar High School and BEHS Aye Mya Thida. The trip offered students a rich blend of educational, cultural, and recreational experiences, fostering personal growth and exposure beyond the classroom.
The day began with an enlightening visit to the MJTD Botanical Garden, where students explored sustainable practices within the zone and gained insight into the importance of environmental conservation alongside industrial development. Following this, the group set off for Yangon City to immerse themselves in Myanmar's heritage and modern attractions.
Their first stop was the revered Shwe Dagon Pagoda, where students learned about the site’s religious, historical, and cultural significance, deepening their appreciation for Myanmar’s spiritual traditions. The excursion continued at Kantharyar Shopping Mall, where students experienced a contemporary shopping environment before enjoying a buffet lunch together.
At the National Museum (Yangon), students discovered Myanmar's history, art, and cultural legacy through curated exhibits, enriching their understanding of the nation’s heritage. The day concluded with a fun-filled visit to Bounce Space Playground, allowing students to unwind and enjoy leisure time altogether.
This excursion successfully combined educational enrichment, cultural appreciation, and recreation, creating lasting memories and inspiring TSEZ Scholarship students on their academic paths.
