Thilawa, August 22
On behalf of TSEZ Locators, the Community Relations Department of MJTD successfully organized an enriching excursion program for State-School Scholarship students as part of its commitment to supporting youth development and educational advancement.
On Friday, August 22, 2025, a group of 24 scholarship students—12 from BEHS Myaing Thar Yar and 12 from BEHS Aye Mya Thida, together with their Guardian teachers—participated in a memorable one-day excursion trip designed to provide educational, communicative, cultural, and recreational experiences.
The program began with a visit to the Thilawa Special Economic Zone (TSEZ), where students observed the operational environment of the zone and gained exposure to real workplace settings, helping them envision their own future career paths.
Following breakfast, the group continued to Yangon to embark on a series of cultural and educational activities. Their first stop was the iconic Shwe Dagon Pagoda, where students explored its profound historical and cultural significance. This experience deepened their appreciation for Myanmar’s spiritual heritage and the traditions that shape the nation.
The students then visited the National Museum of Myanmar, offering them valuable insights into the country’s history, art, and cultural legacy through its diverse collections.
After enjoying a buffet lunch, the group spent the afternoon at Water Boom (Water Park), where they relaxed, bonded, and created lasting memories in a fun and engaging physical activities.
The excursion effectively combined learning, cultural exposure, and recreation, leaving students inspired and motivated in both their academic and personal development.
