TSEZ hosts the 8th Annual TSEZ Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony

On October 29, 2024, the Community Relations Department of MJTD, on behalf of all locators in Thilawa SEZ, organized the 8th TSEZ Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at the Myat Saw Nyi Nyaung Pada Forest Monastery in Shwe Pyauk Village Tract, KyaukTan Township.

Representatives from 28 locators, alongside MJTD, MTSH, TPD, and village guests, participated in the ceremony. Honored by invited and resident monks, the offering ceremony was led by Venerable Citta Sukha Sayadaw, including the taking of the five precepts by participants, Dhamma talk by Sangha, and the offering of the Kathina Main Robe, accessory robes, and other requisites. We also provided lunch for the monks and all guests.

The 8th TSEZ Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony not only preserved this cherished tradition but also strengthened the bonds between the community and TSEZ. This successful event reflected the collective generosity and commitment to spiritual growth, ensuring the continuity of this meaningful religious and traditional event each year.
