COVID-19 VACCINE BOOSTER SHOTS TO EMPLOYEES IN THILAWA SEZ

In collaboration with the Township Health Department and TSEZ Management Committee, Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Limited (MJTD), with the support of Thilawa Property Development Limited, organized a COVID-19 vaccination (booster dose) program from February 19 to 21, 2024, at the Residential Compound near TSEZ Zone A.

During the three-day program, 41 companies participated in administering Booster Dose vaccinations. A total of 1694 individuals from our locators received Pfizer's Comirnaty monovalent and bivalent mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. The booster shots were effectively distributed across the three days, with 525 on day 1, 490 on day 2, and 679 on day 3. This effort aimed to enhance immunity and prevent the transmission of Coronavirus.

This program, part of our Employee Wellbeing and Health Care Support Program, was offered free of charge to all TSEZ employees, demonstrating our commitment to their health and wellbeing. Furthermore, as part of our ongoing corporate social responsibility, we continue to engage in supportive activities in the neighboring communities of Thilawa SEZ.
