MJTD SPEARHEADS MID YEAR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBLE (CSR) ENGAGEMENT MEETING

Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Limited (MJTD) organized Mid-year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Engagement Meeting which led by Community Relations Department on 26th October 2023 at MJTD Multi-purpose Hall.

The meeting was completely conducted by the present of 28 representatives from 18 Locators with overarching intention encompassed of informing Social Responsible Activities of Thilawa SEZ in mid-term period (April to September 2023) of FY2023-2024. Additionally, the locators' suggestions and comments were to be incorporated into strengthened activities designed to bettering the local community atmosphere through CSR initiatives.

Initially, Community Relations Department presented the purpose of Thilawa SEZ Social Responsible Activities and all the accomplishments that contribute to TSEZ Neighboring Communities during the period of April to September 2023. TSEZ CSR activities based on the objectives of enhancing support for the development of human resources, socioeconomic advancement, and fundamental infrastructure improvements in the surrounding communities of Thilawa SEZ to gain the purpose (outputs) in the category of Education, Health Care, Social Protection, Basic Infrastructure Development and Engagements.

Thilawa Special Economic Zone has been enhancing and boosting the development of TSEZ neighboring communities since 2015.
