The Thilawa SEZ School Infrastructure Support Program has completed the repair work of two school classrooms at Kyak Tan Township and Thanlyin Township

The Thilawa SEZ School Infrastructure Support Program has completed the repair work of two classrooms for KG students at Myaing Thar Yar High School, Kyauk Tan Township, and School Building Plastering Work at Alun Sut Village Thanlyin Township on May 30, 2023.

The program's goal is to provide good learning environments for students by constructing and upgrading educational facilities and creating a safe, productive, and inclusive learning environment.

The repair work will benefit the 160 kindergarten students at Myaing Thar Yar High School and the plastering work will help to safe learning environment for about 300 students attending the BEPS Ah Lwan Suk Village. By improving the condition of classrooms, students can concentrate better and excel in their studies.

The Thilawa SEZ School Infrastructure Support Program is a collaborative effort of all the Locators in Thilawa SEZ and MJTD, that aims to enhance the quality of education in neighboring communities by providing support for school infrastructure development and capacity-building for teachers and students. The Thilawa Special Economic Zone will continue to invest to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education to all students around TSEZ including educational infrastructures and opportunities and provide a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment for students.
