Oral checkup programs at Myaing Tharyar School
Thilawa SEZ organized the oral health care program on October 18th, 2018 at Myaing Tharyar School. This program aims to support oral health targeted to young school children in Thanlyin & Kyaut Tan township with the cooperation of Ministry of Health.
About 1000 students participated in the program and the program involves oral health education, distributes oral health kits to students and performs supervised tooth brushing followed by screening process and preventive treatments for children under age of 10.
The program is initially targeted to ten schools nearby of Thilawa SEZ for more than 2,000 students and Myaing Thar Yar High School is the first one.
