After the accomplishment of “Homage Paying Donation” ceremony, Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development (MJTD) organized “Back to School” donation program for the fifth time on the 20^th of May, where stationery kits and school supplies were donated to over 4,000 children,  more than 1,200 increase in the total number of children compared to last year.  The ceremony was held at the Moe Kyoe Swan Monastery near the economic zone as joint CSR activities of MJTD together with TSEZ’s locators and investors that support the neighboring community around Thilawa.

Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Limited (MJTD) today announced that plots for the Zone B second phase covering 77 hectares of the Thilawa Special Economic Zone (Thilawa SEZ) will be available for sale in July this year.

According to the Myanmar Investment Commission, total FDI in the Thilawa SEZ project reached approximately US $150 million between April and July of 2018.

According to a press conference held by the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC), total foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has reached approximately US $150 million in the space of three months.
